What is UPI?

"Unified Payment Interface" (UPI) enables all bank account holders to send and receive money from their smartphones without the need to enter bank account information or net banking userid/ password.

Where can UPI be used?

UPI can be used to send and receive money from individuals or to pay directly to merchants.

How can I use UPI?

Users can instantly download a UPI app such as iMobile (for ICICI Bank customer) and Pockets (for ICICI/ non-ICICI Bank customers) and create their own Virtual Payment Address (VPA) such as xyz@pockets or xyz@icici to start using UPI.

What is a Virtual Payment Address (VPA)?

For using UPI, users need to create a Virtual Payment Address (VPA) of their choice and link it to any bank account. The VPA acts as their financial address and users need not remember beneficiary account number, IFSC codes or net banking user id/password for sending or receiving money.

కర్ణుడి దానగుణాన్ని....అందరూ పొగుడుతూ ఉంటే.... అర్జునుడు భరించలేక ఒక రోజు కృష్ణుడి దగ్గరకు వెళ్లి....

బావా! నేను కూడా దానాలు చేశాను.

అవసరమైతే కర్ణుడి కన్నా ఎక్కువ చేస్తాను.

అయినా నన్ను ఎవరూ గుర్తించటం లేదు.

అందరూ కర్ణుడి దాన గుణాన్నే పొగుడుతున్నారు.

దీని వెనకున్న కారణమేమిటి? అని అడిగాడు. కృష్ణుడు చిరునవ్వు నవ్వి ఊరుకున్నాడు.

ఆ సంభాషణ జరిగిన సాయంత్రం...

అలా కృష్ణుడు, అర్జునుడు వాహ్యాళికి వెళ్లారు. అక్కడ వాళ్లిద్దరికి ఒక బంగారు కొండ కనిపించింది. అర్జునుడు చాలా ఆశ్చర్యపోయాడు.

అప్పుడు కృష్ణుడు అర్జునుడి వైపు చూసి....

ఈ బంగారు కొండను దానం చేయి..... అప్పుడైనా నీకు కర్ణుడి కన్నా మంచిపేరు వస్తుందేమో...అన్నాడు

అర్జునుడు వెంటనే తన సేవకుల చేత....చుట్టుపక్కల ఉన్న గ్రామాలవారికి బంగారం దానంగా తీసుకొమ్మని దండోరా వేయించాడు.అన్ని గ్రామాల ప్రజలు రావటం మొదలుపెట్టారు. అర్జునుడు బంగారాన్ని తవ్వించి చిన్న చిన్న ముక్కలు దానం చేయటం మొదలుపెట్టాడు. ఎంత మందికి దానం చేసినా బంగారం తరగటం లేదు. జనం సంఖ్య పెరుగుతూనే ఉంది....

ఒక రోజు అయ్యేసరికి అర్జునుడు అలసిపోయాడు....

దానం చేయాలంటే చిరాకుగా ఉంది... అన్నాడు... అప్పుడు కృష్ణుడు..నీకు దానం ఎలా చేయాలో చెబుతా.... అని కర్ణుడిని పిలిపించాడు. ఈ బంగారం కొండలు మాకు కనిపించాయి. వాటిని నువ్వు ఎవరికైనా దానం చేస్తే బావుంటుంది..’’ అన్నాడు

వెంటనే కర్ణుడు- అక్కడున్న ప్రజలందరి వైపు తిరిగి- ఈ కొండలు మీవి. వీటిని తవ్వి తీసుకువెళ్లండి..’’ అన్నాడు. అందరూ తమకు కావల్సిన బంగారం తీసుకెళ్లారు

తెలివైన ఆవు

అనగనగా ఒక ఊరు,

ఆ ఊరిలో ఒక వ్యక్తి ఉండేవాడు.అతని దగ్గర ఒక ఆవు ఉండేది.

అది ఒక రోజు ప్రమాదవశాత్తు కాలుజారి బావిలో పడిపోయింది. అది సహాయం కోసం ఎన్నో గంటలు అరిచి గీపెట్టింది. చాలా సేపటి తర్వాత గాని ఆవు బావిలో పడిందని తెలుసుకోలేకపోయాడు ఆ యజమాని, ఇన్నాళ్లుగా తనకి ఎంతో సేవ చేసిన ఆవును కాపాడాలని అనుకోలేదు అతను.ఎందుకంటే ఆ ఆవును పైకి తీయడం అనవసరం ముసలిది అయినది అనుకున్నాడు. అంతేకాక ఆ బావిని కూడా మూసేయాలని ఎప్పటి నుంచో అనుకుంటున్నారు. అందుకని దానిమీద మట్టి వేసి బావి నింపటం మంచిదని భావించాడు ఆ వ్యక్తి. ఆ పనిచేయడానికి తనకు సహాయం చేయమని పక్కింటి వారిని కూడా పిలిచాడు. ఆతను పారతో బావిలోని ఆవుపై మట్టి వేయడం ప్రారంభించాడు. పక్కింటివారు కూడా పారలతో మట్టి వేస్తూ ఆయనకు సహాయం చేయసాగారు. ఏం జరుగుతోందో అర్ధం కాని ఆవు మొదట అంబా అరిచింది, తరువాత అరవకుండా ఉండిపోయింది.అమ్మయ్య ఆనుకున్నాడు.

కొద్దిసేపు పారతో మట్టి వేసిన తరువాత బావిలోకి చూసిన ఆయన ఆశ్చర్యపోయాడు.

తనపైన మట్టిపడుతున్న ప్రతిసారి ఆవు మట్టిని విదుల్చుకుంటూ ఆ మట్టిమీదే నిలబడి పైకి రాసాగింది. అతనికి,ఆతని పక్కింటి వారికి ఆశ్చర్యం కలిగింది. బావిలో నిండిన మట్టి మీదుగా ఎక్కి ఆవు పైకి వచ్చేసింది.

ఆవు తెలివికి మెచ్చిన అతను, తన తప్పు తెలుసుకొని, అప్పటి నుంచి ప్రేమగా చూడసాగాడు.

నీతి :

ఈ ఆవులాగే మనమీద కూడ ఎంతో మంది దుమ్ము, మట్టి వేస్తుంటారు.
కాని ఆ దుమ్మును, మట్టిని దులుపుకొని జీవితంలో పైకి వచ్చేవారే తెలివైనవారు.

గాడిదకొడకా

ఒక మంత్రిగారి సుపుత్రుడు కళాశాలలో బాగా అల్లరి చేసేవాడు. ఉపాధ్యాయులను ఏడిపించేవాడు. వాణ్ని ఏమీ చెయ్యలేక ఒక తెలుగు మాస్టారు 'ఓరి ఇరవై అయిదూ, ఇరవై ఆరూ! నోర్మూసుకు కూర్చో' అనేవారు. అది తిట్టో ఏమిటో అర్థమయ్యేదికాదు. చివరికి కళాశాల నిమంత్రణ ఉత్సవం(ఫేర్‌వెల్‌)లో కొందరు విద్యార్థులు 'గురువుగారూ చివరిరోజు కదా, ఇవాళైనా ఆ ప్రహేళిక విప్పండి' అని అడిగారు. దానికి ఆయన 'తెలుగు సంవత్సరాల పేర్లు వెతుక్కోండి' అన్నారు. తీరాచూస్తే ఇరవై అయిదు- ఖర, ఇరవై ఆరు నందన! అంటే, రోజూ వాణ్ని 'గాడిదకొడకా' అని ఆయన కసితీరా తిట్టేవారన్నమాట.(అందుకే తెలుగు నేర్చుకొండని మొత్తుకొనేది) ******వాట్సప్ షేర్******

సాధువు కోపం

ఓ సాధువు ఓ పార్టీకి వెళ్ళాడు

అక్కడ అంతా బాగా తాగి ఉన్నారు,
అక్కడున్న వారంతా సాధువు వేషం చూసి అతడిని ఆటపట్టించసాగారు

నాయనా నేను ఓ సాధువును,నాకు కోపం తెప్పించకండి,శపించగలను అన్నాడు

వారు అతని మాటలు పట్టించుకోకుండా అరే పాగల్ గా శపిస్తవా శపించురా చూద్దాం బావురు గడ్డమూ నువ్వూ నీ.. అని నవ్వసాగారు

సాధువుకి చాలా కోపం వచ్చింది

అకస్మాత్తుగా సాధువుని చూసి నవ్విన వారందరి కళ్ళూ పోయాయి

వారు తమ తప్పు తెలుసుకుని అతని కాళ్ళ మీద పడి ఏడవసాగారు

స్వామీ మీ మహిమ తెలియక హేళన చేశాం
మా తప్పు మన్నించండి
మా కళ్ళు మాకు ప్రసాదించండి
అని వేడుకున్నారు

అప్పుడు స్వాధువు పలికాడు

అరేయ్ మీకు బాగా ఎక్కేసిందిరా
నేను మిమ్మల్ని శపించలేదు
మీ కళ్ళూ పోలేదు
కరెంటు పోయింది
నాకూ కనపడట్లేదు
కింద పడేలా ఉన్నా నా కాళ్ళు వదలండిరా
